The last week has positively flown by!
Here’s some highlights…
William qualified to play in a ‘million dollar shoot out’ at Sutton Creek. He (and about 19 others) had one shot from 165 yards out to hole out. Needless to say, it didn’t happen – but it was the best event at Sutton Creek this year! So much fun! Here’s some things that made it nerve racking for the participants, but cool for the spectators:
- – About 50 people watching
- – Betting on the participants (closest to the pin)
- – The shot was 165 yards out over water done in the darkness, with lights just on the green
- – Driven out one at a time by ‘Coors Light Girls’
- – Names announced via loudspeaker
- – Music rocking during the ride out
FYI – Most people call my husband ‘Mike’ – not Billy or William…. and only 4 or 5 guys hit the green. Fun! They had apps floating around, cocktails (of course!) and a nice fire on the patio. William did great and got 3rd closest from the pin – but so many people bet on him the payout was only $10!
Work has been… not a lot. I’m really just in a holding pattern of doing the norm, as I believe my boss’ focus is elsewhere as he is getting married in two weeks in PA. So that’s all good.
Golf’s been pretty good. It was windy, cold and rainy yesterday afternoon at times, but then was really nice.
This week-end we’re headed to Cleveland on Saturday for the Browns v. Bills game on Sunday. Woo hoo! There is a Browns Backers party at the stadium on Saturday night (so much fun!) then we have dinner reservations at a good steakhouse. Tailgating party with our Backers on Sunday in the Muni Lot – can’t wait! The video that I wanted to show won’t embed – it keeps embedding the Green Bay tailgating experience – annoying! Here’s one from 2010
Life is… awesome!
